The Men's 'B' Division in 2009 was the most competitive of all of the Provincial Championships divisions. This level of ball hockey sees the teams very even in calibre of play. The 2009 preliminary games were held in Kelowna, BC at Memorial Arena and Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. The teams battled hard over the 48 hour tournament which resulted in the Surrey Satans and Vancouver Centurions meeting in the championship game. The game was very close with teams trading goals back and forth. With just over 1 minute left, a Centurions slap shopt from the point deflected off one of their teammates in front of the net to give the Vancouver squad a 5-4 lead which they were able to hold onto to capture the 2009 title.
