2009 World Ball Hockey

The most anticipated ball hockey event of
the year is now only one week away! The 2009 World Ball Hockey Championships
will begin on June 13th, 2009 in Pilsen, Czech Republic and you will be able
to catch the action live on the web.
Seventeen of the games
played in the CEZ Arena will be broadcasted online including all of
the quaterfinals and semifinals of A-pool and the medal games of both
A-pool and the women tournament.
Everyday highlights will be composed of the most interesting moments
from games of both A- and B-pool and the women tournament.

to the Vancouver Falcon Machine for defeating the Surrey Giants 4-3 in the
National Qualifer final and earning a chance to represent BC at the 2009
Nationals in Winnipeg, MB.
All teams are to be commended for their fantastic play and sportsmanship
throughout the tournament.

Officials Needed!
Hockey Night in Canada and Play-On has partnered
Nationally with the CBHA and BCBHA to promote the sport of Ball
Hockey.
The event is taking place in Vancouver June 13 &
14 near GM Place.
They are looking for individuals that could
offer the time to officiate games on both days. Officials must be
knowledgeable of the rules of the game and 16 years of age.
The games will be 30 minutes each starting at
8:00 AM and concluding around 8:00 PM.
If you have the desire to be involved in
addition to helping Ball Hockey in BC, please let me know.

CBC's Hockey Night in Canada
presents Play On! is back for 2009 and is bigger and better than ever
before, bringing several new and great changes!
The biggest change to note is that Play On! Vancouver is making its
return to its rightful place - the exciting hustle and bustle of Downtown
Vancouver - where you will be playing in the shadows of GM Place, the home
of the Vancouver Canucks! Come and experience Play On! in the streets of
Downtown Vancouver where you will battle for bragging rights to be
Vancouver's (and maybe even Canada's) street hockey champions!

TORONTO, ON – The
Canadian Ball Hockey Association and its High Performance Family announced
Thursday that 25 of Canada’s best men’s ball hockey players and 8 staff
members are preparing their venture to the 8th World Ball Hockey
Championships from June 13- 20, 2009 in the ball hockey mad city of Pilsen
in the Czech Republic. |

Western Canada's Largest Indoor
Ball Hockey Tournament - 28 cbha teams in attendance -
In 2008 we had 28 CBHA registered ball hockey teams in attendance. These
teams were from more than 12 different CBHA leagues, spanning across 3
provinces (BC, Alta and Saskatchewan). Each year since our inaugural year,
the tournament has grown in size by about 60%, so the anticipation will be
somewhere between 28 and 36 cbha teams at the 2009 event.
Locations and Dates:
This is the 5th annual INTERIOR CUP, it occurs every year on the may long
weekend, in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia.
May 15-18, 2009 of this year.

(TORONTO) October 30, 2008 – Women’s Team Canada (WTC)
is proud to announce its roster for the 2009
Women’s World Championships to be held in Pilsen, Czech Republic in June
2009. Twenty-four players, 10 of which are returning from the 2007 team,
have been selected from across the country to defend Canada’s 2007 title of
World Champions. WTC is also proud to announce the six supporting staff
members. |
